Welcome to my new blog. I am sitting at home waiting to leave for the airport to begin my trip to Italy and Germany with my son Trevor. Apparently I just don't travel enough. I find this very stressful. I suppose that if I did this more often it wouldn't be so.
At any rate I am looking forward to this trip. I'm very excited. This is gonna be an opportunity that I have awaited 40 years . You see it's been 40 years since I was stationed in Germany in the Army. This will be the first time I've been back since then. I am also looking forward to spending this time with my son Trevor.
I am at the airport now waiting to check in. It's 1:15 PM and the ticket counter doesn't open until 2:00. Ugh! This is me feeling dejected. 
Wait, I'm fulfilling a 40 year dream! Why am I feeling dejected? That's better!So, I depart at 5:15. I fly to Denmark where I have a long layover before I fly on to Rome. I should arrive in Rome at about 8:00 Saturday evening. See you there!
